Pursuit Street Advisors was created specifically for millennials who want more than a traditional advisor relationship.

We go beyond just managing your investments and having an annual check-in — we build real relationships, help you map out your future, and walk with you through every step of the journey.

If you’re looking for something different from your parents’ financial advisor, we could be the right fit for you.

We get this question all the time — and it’s a great one! If you’ve never worked with a financial advisor, it can be hard to imagine the value they bring. But the long-term peace of mind that comes from knowing a professional is managing your finances can be well worth the cost on its own.

In fact, a study by Vanguard found that investors who work with a financial advisor see, on average, 3% higher net returns than those who don’t.

With tax laws, financial regulations, and life circumstances constantly changing, having expert guidance can help you stay informed and avoid potentially costly mistakes.

We are a virtual retirement planning firm and as such we meet with clients exclusively via Zoom video conferencing.

Both the Financial Planning and Investment Management services include 4 meetings in the first year.

For ongoing financial planning and investment management clients, we schedule quarterly financial planning meetings covering different topics throughout the year. Our goal is to provide continual guidance so that you are able to take advantage of opportunities, properly handle challenges, and maintain peace of mind knowing that your decisions are grounded in sound financial reasoning. The proactive nature of our process allows you to plan ahead and consistently make progress toward your goals.

We also offer ad-hoc phone conversations for urgent matters, and provide full email support and analysis throughout the year as needed. We also proactively check in between meetings to offer support as needed and ensure you stay on track with your financial plan.

Our standalone Financial Planning process spans 4-6 total meetings over a period of about 3 months.

First our introductory call, then a discovery meeting, next we present your personalized plan, and finally you have an optional follow up video calls for any additional questions. At this point you will take the plan and implement it yourself.

Some of the most frequent things that we discuss with clients include:

  • Goals, values, and priorities
  • Net worth growth
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Savings and spending strategies
  • Housing affordability analysis
  • Employer sponsored plans (401k, SEP IRA, etc.)
  • Insurance (including health, disability, life, umbrella, annuities, and P&C)
  • Asset allocation
  • Scenario planning and long-term projections for financial freedom or traditional retirement
  • Tax reduction strategies
  • Estate planning discussions

And more…

Investment allocations are high-level. We do not provide recommendations for specific investments or products with this service.

Of course! We welcome clients to reach out anytime they have questions, concerns, or changes. Outside of regularly scheduled meetings, we provide phone and email support.

We ask that clients reach out to us via email to begin any in-between meeting conversations. Doing so allows us to respond as a team, and ensure you’re connected with the best person to help address the specific question, thought, or concern. From there, we’ll work with you to:

  • Provide a complete response via email (we strive to do this within 48 hours of receiving all emails). Or, if analysis needs to be done on our end to provide an answer, we’ll get clear on any deadlines and set a date by when you can expect a full response.
  • Set up a time to talk via phone to resolve the issue, if it is time-sensitive and urgent, and cannot be taken care of over email.
  • Place your topic on the agenda of an upcoming meeting so that we can have a deeper conversation about the topic in the context of your full financial plan.

Yes! Our firm regularly meets with clients through Zoom video conferencing. We are licensed to operate everywhere in the U.S. and currently help families across 15+ states navigate financial planning, retirement, reducing taxes, and investing smarter.

We believe that a financial plan is not a one-time event. It’s an ongoing process. We continually make adjustments that reflect your life as it unfolds. We also work with an aggregation system that uses real-time numbers and highly detailed, accurate work are integral to how we operate. We develop plans and systems that allow you to achieve the goal of living well today while still planning responsibly for tomorrow.

We design globally-diversified portfolios to minimize costs and deliver appropriate risk-adjusted returns. Our investing strategy is based in a diversified core portfolio of publicly traded stocks and bonds. We then target dimensions of higher expected returns using decades of empirical evidence and research to power every decision.

Our team of Chartered Financial Analysts performs in depth periodic research on global asset classes to ensure that we’re choosing the appropriate exposure to each through the right investment vehicle inside your portfolio. When appropriate, we discuss alternative investments outside of the publicly traded stock market, opening the door to new opportunities such as private equity and private credit should we decide together that these strategies work for your plan.

We are not active traders or stock-pickers, nor do we default to an indexing strategy that you simply “set and forget.”

Our approach is to develop strategies for each client, aligning portfolios to your goals and preferences for risk. We dig deeper into the asset class and investment vehicle decisions to ensure that we are optimizing your exposures to areas we believe will perform best over the long-term or provide a greater level of protection.
